Money Vault on Queen City Ave

I used to avoid this pawn shop when it was called Queencity Pawn or somthing like that. This was probably at least 4 or so years ago. Then this year we had some financial troubles due to our ohio PUA 0ayments being stopped for 6 weeks the first of the year. We had to do somthing so we decided to pawn my wedding ring set only until we started getting my payments weekly again. I was worried that it would take longer than 30 days since this was the 1st wk of Jan and my experience in the past with any pawn shop was you had 30 days to pay the item in full or the interest or you lost the item in pawn. However when I talked to the amazingly nice sales woman at Money Vault I was shocked to find our at their store you actually got 120 days to get the item out however if you want to pay the interest in 30 days to keep the payment in full the same you can. But if you don't then you have 120 days to pay and pick up your item or items and your amount to pay in full just goes up every 30 days until you get it out by whatever the interest amount is on your pawn ticket. That became a godsend since I've had nothing but issues with OH and PUA this year and instead of losing somthing very special to me I was given extra time to get them out. Their rates are not bad at all and the amount they pay for items is some of the best I've ever had offered. The best part is if you purchased somthing with them and you need to pawn it for a loan you actually get a higher amount because you purchased that item from them to begin with. I was shocked to find that out when I pawned my ring since my finace had got 1 of the 2 rings there a few months before. The place is small and they don't have a ton of items there. However they have beautiful great priced jewelry and they do layaway which is nice for higher priced items. Recently they stopped requiring masks for anyone that has recieved the covid vax however for anyone that hasn't they ask that you please still wear your mask. During the worst parts of covid they did several things to help the people in this community when they needed help. And you never feel judged or looked at in a self conscious way. Everyone is always friendly amd knowledable about so many things. And I've seen someone try to pawn so.thing they thought was real gold only to find out it wasn't and usually people at pawn shops are very cold or somewhat rude when it comes to that. But the guy that was helping this older lady was very sweet and did everything he could to help her understand and show her so she knew and when I left was still trying to find a way to help her with what she needed. I definitely recommend!

The guy there his name was JT was super nice and it being my first time there walked me through the entire process... he was great I would totally recommend
